Corvair Club Annual meeting

The
First State Corvair Club held its annual meeting at the Embassy Suites
in Newark, last Saturday. In attendance was New Castle County Clerk of
the Peace Ken Boulden. Newark Councilman Jerry Clifton was on hand with
his yellow 1965 Corvair drag race car. The Corvair was produced by the
Chevrolet Division of General Motors from 1959 to 1969. It differed
from other American cars, thanks to a rear-mounted air-cooled engine
and a unique design.
