<VV> Fw: distributor/coil mounting wire

The coil wire to the distributor usually needs a longer lead when mounted on the lock support. I have 3 '69s and have experience in this matter. They may be mounted on the rear rail with one screw with some luck. This does move it from the block.

Smog pump and air-conditioned cars had the ignition coil moved to the  rear
brace. So 65 A/C cars had the coil there. Smog pumps were used on
California cars from 1966-on, so the slot/hole could easily be on any 1966-67  car,
even though Smog pumps were not national until 68. Interestingly, the 1966
Air-Conditioned California cars were exempt from the smog pump. Think about
working on a 1966 California Air-Conditioned 140 car with a smog pump. In
1967,  the smog pump and the A/C could co-exist. In theory, at least.
