The same issue also has an article on the 1955 GMC L'Universelle, at
Motorama dream car. It is a mid engine, FWD, forward control van that was
due to go into production. However various problems, such as where to put
the radiator stopped it. You see where this going, don't you? Plans for this
car were scrapped and the Greenbrier/Corvan resulted.

If you Greenbrier fans have not seen this car, you need to check it out. You
can definitely see the Corvair lines in it and it looks like what Cadillac
would have sold if they sold a version of the Greenbrier.
