 Yep! And LED drop lights are even more robust. They are just now becoming available, including some cordless models.

speaking of lighting , i keep forgetting to mention something i  
discovered...those new fluorescent bulbs! the 60 watters are perfect for lead  
lights 
, they survive lots of drops , and dont get as hot. ,  i use the 60  watt 
units in all of mine.  the 100 are too bight( they get a touch warm  also).  
other than the squirrelly looks , i think they are a great update  to my 
shop. i have had them in all of my trouble lights since this spring , and  
cannot find any negatives yet.  got them in packs of four cheap at wallmart  or 
home despot.
