My search found that there are no buying tips, disclaimers or dispute resolution processes offered when buying anything from a CORSA member listed in either the Communique' CORSA Classified or at corvair.org Online Classified Ads. It is the practice in many organizations to warn buyers about ads.
The Corvair Parts & Repair Specialists list in Communique' does contain a disclaimer that "CORSA neither endorses nor accepts any responsibililty for the products or services . . ."
and the list is controlled by CORSA Parts and Repair Chairman Larry Claypool.
Online ads are posted through the Membership Center, and there are no controls listed for either number or frequency of ads posted by members, and buyers have no information if ads were placed by full time or part time dealers.
Complaints or suggestions about CORSA policies should be made to your division director.
"Caveat emptor" is common sense advice, although many states have consumer protection statutes which may offer buyers some relief.
