Let's correct this correction -- the 1964 leaf springs are "weaker" to
reduce the roll center height, transferring more weight to the outside
front tire in corners. The leaf spring was added to support the rear
without adding to the roll center height. Stock front sway bars are part
of the package.

The 63 springs, if they are "new" will likely be a bit stiffer than the
oem 63 springs, ala should work very nice on a vert. Not as nice as the
full 64 setup, but as noted, they are paid for, and 64 coils only is not
an option one should consider. Save your parts money for the correct 64
parts you need.

When you take your 64 springs out, mark them left and right, if they are
still original to those two locations -- but since the A-arms have been
changed, maybe the springs got swapped, too.

Curious, how do you wear out an A-arm? Damage I understand, but 'worn
out' I do not.
