<VV> Membership question -- 100% vs Not.

To attend a convention you have to be a CORSA member. You can't registrar
for the convention or any event without being a member. Their personal
liability insurance will cover them up to its limits, but won't cover anyone
within CORSA. I would never have been a chapter officer or on the CORSA BoD
without knowing I was insured.

That brings up another question, does CORSA provide insurance for chapter
officers who are not members. I assume it does. That is one heck of a
benefit we're giving away!

All:

   How about a compromise...
   Make National membership an optional.
Then charge extra to those who attend the convention an extra fee to
cover
the expense of having to check for membership.
All those who want to participate will have to cover their own
insurance and
    provide proof.
They will soon either join or stop attending. Let them that are not
members
    decide their ultimate direction.

Thanks
