I like how you added the "per se" qualifier, since the new ID requirements
were, in effect, a joint, rather than a unilateral decision by US and
Canadian Customs and Immigration.  Yes, the US asked for it first, but
Canada was right there with us.  It was a very mutual decision, one that had
been discussed for years, largely at Canada's insistence (with your
firearm-phobia and allegations of guns leaking into Canada from the US via
places like Detroit driving it).

My, my......a bit defensive are we not?  And as for "getting your facts
straight", you wanna talk about the "fine Arab fellow" that tried to drive a
trunk-full of explosives into the US from Canada?
