Craig, A covered trailer is best, but if you don't mind a little grime on your car an open trailer is next best.  I've used a 2 wheel dolly for short distances and also flat towed, both of which I,m not too anxious to do again..  Just be sure to have an adequate vehicle to pull it and proper trailer hitch and trailer brakes that work well.  Ken
