For you folks out there that ship, I've found lately that the actual  
Fedex ground charges are generally lower than UPS.  However, there  
are some differences depending on where you are shipping, so it pays  
to shop around.  My suspicion on this particular shipper is they are  
charging a premium to use Fedex.
