Questions......

What exactly do non-CORSA members in local chapters cost CORSA?
Are they getting the magazine free?
Are they attending conventions free?

Last time I checked, to actually participate in convention events. a non-member had to join
CORSA, etc. Some members have observed that non-members are wandering thru the vendor
areas, hospitality, etc without benefit of registering. If you wish to control this and other
unauthorized activites, the convention planners will need to include money for security. This
will add another layer of expense and require more limited access for all attendees.

Also, what good is achieved if you run off a potential new local member by requiring that
he/she join the national in addition to the local. As a member of MCCC, the total membership
fee would be $60. Not a staggering amount, but it may be prohibitive to some especially if
they have not been involved long enough to see any benefits. Get them in at the local level.
Demonstrate the value. Encourage national membership without beating them over the head.

My two cents
