There are many, many interesting technical, development, modification and
restoration projects going on out in Corvairland. Why aren’t these being
followed by CORSA and written about in the Communique? Corvair projects get
started, worked on and completed without even a word being said in the Communique!!
wouldn't it make the Communique more enticing and fulfilling to the members
if some of these activities were documented?
Oh, sure CORSA is waiting for these members to take the initiative and write
up these activities and accomplishments. But that just doesn't seem to work
well. CORSA should take the initiative (get a volunteer, or volunteers, to
spearhead this activity). What seems to be missing is for CORSA to ASK for and
SEEK volunteer help.
CORSA has many many potential volunteers (retirees and semi-retirees with
time, ability and money!) who can keep up with these projects and their
progress, writing articles of interest and assisting in developing articles for the
Communique. Why are these being missed? I can name plenty of retired,
knowledgeable, talented, interested, capable CORSA members who can be asked to
volunteer their time. skills and writing talents for CORSA (and I’m sure that
there are many more). Why haven’t these people been brought into the fold and
asked to help CORSA? How about getting a volunteer coordinator for this? Again,
who is minding the store? It seems like CORSA is just sitting back waiting
for something to happen instead of going out and beating the bushes making
things happen (i.e., writing tech articles for the Communique).
Regards,
Bob Helt
