My '62 doesn't like to take the gas from an idle and prefers to gasp  and 
die.  I've replaced the pump rod cups and bench adjusted the  carburetors per the 
manual to no avail.  Throttle actuation gives a good  (it seems to me) squirt 
of gas in each one.  I suspect the carburetors as  they did the same thing on 
another Corvair before I worked them over and put  them on the 62.  What's 
the next most likely item to  suspect?
