Okay Guys,
Sorry for the length of this post but a lot of stuff going on at the
Workshop.
Here's the current state of affairs for the "Performance Workshop to be
held on March 7^th in Indy. On Friday, setup for will take place in the
afternoon. Friday morning several tours will be available for your
viewing pleasure. First is the shop called /Automotive Hammer Art/ were
they bang out custom steel bodies for hotrods and other modes of
transportation. The next stop on the way to the workshop is a small
company that custom builds midget race cars. For those not familiar with
midget racing, it is an open wheel car with an open cockpit and a short
wheel base and is very popular in the Midwest. The third leg of the
trifecta is the /Indianapolis Speedway Museum/, located on the grounds
of the Speedway. All these activities are but a short distance from the
hotel and workshop location. If you go to the Performance Workshop
Website you will find a link to these different sites that have pictures
to show what they are about. http://www.corvair.org/chapters/pcg/index.html
Friday at six will be the start of the evening revelry at the /Union
Jacks Pub/ on west 25^th street. This pub is well known for it's pizza
and 24 brands of beer on tap and the theme of the pub is pure racing.
I'm sure that this will be a good time for all. You can contact Ned
Madsen if you are planning on attending the dinner on Friday evening at
