After much thought I have decided to sell my Corv8 that I purchased back in
the fall. Since then I have only driven it three times and it is now
obvious that, with all my free time spent working on my motorcycles, that I
just do not have time to spend with this car. Also, I am President of the
SC chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America and my time is heavily
invested in getting ready for the AMCA First Annual Southern Nationals to be
held next year at Denton FarmPark, NC (a big antique motorcycle swap meet,
bike judging, etc.)and it makes no sense to just let this fine car sit.

It is a '66 Monza and was originally built by the late Mike Hawkes of
Littleton, Colorado. I have much of the documentation that he had with the
car and have additional information on the build courtesy of Steve Goodman
and Gary Hoffman, relating to Mike and the build of the car. It is a very
well put together car with the Wills big-car transmission mod and a modified
crossmember that allows even me, at 6'3" to have quite adequate legroom. I
have photos I can email to anyone interested or I can post additional
details on this forum if requested.

I am located in SC, about halfway between Columbia, SC and Charlotte, NC.
Price on this forum is $8500 firm, and if you pass this on to friends, I
will not dicker but am interested in pre-1970 Harley-Davidson Big Twin
basket-cases as partial trades (so I can have even more motorcycles to work
on). And I can work with a buyer on delivery, perhaps to Jacksonville - I
will not be able to attend the meet there but do have time for a quick
turnaround - I will do so for a pre-paid sale.

I will let this ride on this forum for a week or so, then it is Craigslist,
then Ebay. (Ebay price would of course be higher to cover listing and sale
expenses).

My cell # is 803.519.8023. Email is LMHarley???@truvista.net. If you email
me, you will need to delete the three question marks from the email address.

Thanks,

Lonnie Campbell
