Tidewater people may chime in to correct me, but Greenbrier is an area
of Chesapeake, VA. The Greenbrier Mall is there. Corvair content-
Tidewater Corvair Club held a Vair Fair there back in 1984. Volvo
Parkway was named for a Volvo car assembly plant to be located there in
1974. It would have been the first "foreign" car maker to build in the
US since Rolls Royce had a Springfield MA plant in the 20s. But, Volvo
sales dropped, and the plant never opened for cars. It did build buses
in the early 80s. Volvo Penta does still have a plant and offices on
Volvo parkway. Right off I-264. Stihl also has an assembly plant near there.
