All,

Got the below message and a PDF flier (posted at the bottom) on an orphan

Ron,

Attached is the flyer for this year’s show. This is a very casual show
with participation judging (basically everyone just votes for their
favorite car in each class). Awards are certificates in a frame and we
also take a picture of each car entered in the show in front of the old gas
station on the main street of the park. We would welcome the involvement
of any car groups in our show. The basic arrangement we have with the park
is that we pay them $5 for every registered car and that allows us to give
the driver and one passenger a sticker to walk around the park.

Gary, I wanted to connect with you re: the Orphan Car Show. As a Sales
Manager for the Dayton/Montgomery County Convention and Visitors Bureau I
have the pleasure of working with very hobby and car enthusiasts groups. I
have reached out to a few Car groups that would like to consider the Orphan
Car Show as the site for their Event coupled with the other activities that
they may do (meetings/banquets) at a host hotel.

Are there steps that they would need to follow in order to have their
cars/members attend the event. Several of these groups are looking at 2010
and one for 2011.

I would look forward to discussing this when you return from your trip.
