Diane L. Galli, 76, lost her battle with cancer and, surrounded by family,
went to be with the Lord on July 21, 2009. Born Diane Lawrence in October
1932 in San Francisco to Martha Lawrence, she grew up with a sister,
Patricia. As a family, they moved to Atascadero in 1948, where she
graduated from Atascadero High School. It was there, through mutual
friends, that she met the love of her life, Robert Galli. They married on
July 1, 1950 and lived inseparably ever after. They moved to the Los
Angeles area to raise their children and then back to Atascadero in 1975 to
the property owned by the Galli family since 1927.

As a result of being a Corvair enthusiast, she had many good friends across
the United States and, for the past 20 years, she and Bob have spent much
of their time traveling and seeing the sights of this wonderful Country.
Diane was very close with her family and devoted a lot of time to keeping
in contact with her many loved ones. She was an avid reader, Bingo player
and a devoted sports fan. She could often be found cheering on her favorite
teams of whatever event was in season.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Bob Galli; her sister,
Patricia Knight; her four children and their spouses, Lee and Vonda Galli,
Roberta and Dennis Herndon, Richard and Monica Galli and Christine and
Randy Roeder; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Donations can be
made to your local Hospice chapter.

Friends and family are welcome to gather at the Community Center in
Templeton at 1p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1 for a celebration of her life.
