<VV> converting to Alternator

Put the wrong fan on, spin it up, still blows air the same way, but a LOT less of it.

This is the typical behaviour of centrifugal blowers. They really can't draw it in and blow out the center, after all, they ARE centrifugal!!

Although any fan on an
alternator in a Corvair will ONLY draw air through it, being a centrifugal
fan. However, the one that spins in the correct direction works a LOT better.
