<VV> Thermostat damper door

 Actually it didn't!!  Very seldom, except on the hottest  days.. can you 
pull over.. run to the back of the car and see the right side  open!  Left / oil 
cooler side always opens 1st..
 
  The Bellows... are FAILSAFE.....  then they rupture.. they  extend...
 
Drive on.. do not worry if you can open a T-door with your finger and it  
pops closed... when cold.
