I felt this might be an interesting post. I happened upon a 65 monza coupe this weekend. Its your typical story, put out to pasture and never fed again. So I am pondering if I should pick it up and part it out. The CO knows the car has been here since '92, and the PO owned the property and just left it there to rot. I popped the trunk and grabbed the fan belt and low and behold she's free! So I beg to ask all of you:
What are the ten most valuable parts from a corvair parts car? Lets exclude the drivetrain because we all know the engine/diff/trans means something to everyone.
I know this is a loaded question, but for the sake of it, lets pretend there is nothing unusual about its features/options, just your run-of-the-mill Corvair car.
This may help me decide if I should detour my other projects and let out my winter blues on tearing something apart.
look forward to the banter.
