Dennis sent me the following message. Due to some problems with his new
computer he cannot post on VV.

I noticed a few posts about Carl Sagan's 64 Spyder convertible. The car is
still in my back yard and nothing major has been done to it due to some
rather serious health problems. I have sandblasted all of the engine
sheetmetal, rebuilt the heater box, sandblasted the brake drums, and many,
many other parts. All stuff that I could do inside during the winters.
However, I just can't start on the car body even though I want to so very
badly. I would have to get it into my shop and that would

mean the rampside would have to give up its heated storage. At 74 I

have just run out of time and most of my money goes to the health car
profession. Not being able to restore the car has been one of my greatest
regrets. It is in sad shape, but it is in my opinion restorable. Not much
of the original vehicle would remain but that is not uncommon. The car
actually belongs to my son Mark, but I am the

"keeper". I have the experience to do the restoration but just not the

strength or support of my family. The photos of the car are on Gary
Swiatowy's website. http://rides.webshots.com/album/233356382dqYpqr.

Find Carl Sagan's Spyder. Does any one have any suggestions?
