The wheels move relative to the body, but not each other. Imagine a 
rectangle. The body is the top of the rectangle, the axles/hubs are the 
bottom of the rectangle, and the shocks/springs are the sides of the 
rectangle.

Push on a side and it becomes a parallelogram. No bracing to prevent 
this, unless you tie the bottom of the rectangle to the top of the 
rectangle, like a differential does through the motor mounts and lower 
strut rods. Struts and springs are wobbly, no support there.
