<VV> Corvairs at Riverside, 1962

Another story concerning stock Corvairs is in the newest (July) Hot Rod
Magazine (formerly a Peterson publication) about the glory days of the stock
classes in NHRA drag racing.

One of the lead pictures is of a Lakewood racing a Tempest in K/S, reported
as a popular class probably because the races, at 18 seconds long, gave the
fans time to cheer. Another picture shows a '61 Corvair run by Dave Barrett
and the Chevair Racing Team in J/S.
