<VV> tires - much ado about nothing

Make sure it's not a sedan?  Check for proper inflation?  Get them 
balanced?  Buy new ones if they are over , what is it, seven years old?  
Mount 'em on some cool new rims that you're going to buy from eBay?  
Rotate them -- looking up tire manufacturer's recommendations for the 
proper rotation procedure for your tires?

This is NOT a case of  "too much information".
