Hi all.
I have the raked "AM only" antenna on my '66 vert.  Length of exposed antenna has little effect on the sensitivity of FM.  AM is another matter.  Don't forget to use the AM trim if your radio has it.  Better yet, shut that thing off and listen to the tune of an air cooled flat 6!

Thanks for the cogent reasons WHY the FM antenna should be around 30 inches.

BTW.... how does the speed of light come into play?  What's the formula - if 
you happen to know.

As an aside...  Matt's favorite station is 94.7?  Is that what a 30 inch 
antenna would optimize?
