There is a member of the KC chapter building Corvair consoles, I don't know if the plans are available.The consoles can be seen, along with the his other products at:

Yup that was the ad. Before you send your bucks to Kansas City, you might  
want to see if the plans are still available. "Mr. Tee Square" passed away a 
few  years ago. Last time I talked to the KC guys about the status of his 
plans, they  said his widow didn't know where the plans were.
