October 2-4, 2009

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2: 5:00 PM UNTIL ?
Welcome Party at the home of Scott Netherton; 4105 Crest Court,
Colleyville; fun, food, and good old fashioned Corvair fellowship.
For NTCA members attending; please bring a side dish and lawn chairs.
Scott says that he will heat the pool and spa, if anyone wants to
swim or get in the spa.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3:

Hurst, there is a complimentary hot breakfast.

9:00 am: Caravan from the Hampton Inn at 1600 Hurst Town Center Drive
in Hurst to Jerry’s Chevrolet in Weatherford (approximately 1 hour
driving time).

10:00 am: Arrive at Jerry’s, begin placement of the Corvairs and
prepare the cars to show.

11:00 am: Regular monthly meeting of NTCA; everyone is invited to
attend.

Dinner will be at Riscky’s barbeque, at the Stockyards Station. Trail
Boss Burgers, located next door to Riscky’s, is another option .
Parking is available down the street from Riscky’s, at a cost of
$3.00. After dinner, feel free to enjoy the Stockyards or downtown
Fort Worth.

Note: For the ladies; we are indeed fortunate that the car show
coincides with "First Monday Trade Days," one of the oldest flea
markets in Texas. This is an open air market in Weatherford which is
held the weekend before the firs t Monday of each month. The web site
for the market says that there are over 500 vendor spaces. There will
be food, crafts, antiques and many more items for sale. Additionally,
there is shopping on York Street, just off the downtown square.
Jerry’s Chevrolet is a short distance from the market and
transportation can be provided.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4: 8:00 am
Farewell from the Hampton in Hurst: Breakfast snacks, such as donuts,
will be provided to those not staying at the Hampton.
Thank you for participating in this historic event.

A map of the area off of I-20 where Jerry's is located, just east of
Weatherford, is attached. If you are coming from the east, get off at
Exit 414 and follow the access road onto Fort Worth Highway. Go
through the light at Lakeshore Drive, then turn left at the first
cross-over about 100 yards farther down. Jerry's will be highly
visible all along the south side of Fort Worth Highway. It is a very
large dealership with multiple buildings. To reach the Chevrolet
building, turn back to your left again (going back to the east) and
go up a few hundred feet. until you will see the Chevrolet sign, then
turn in.

If you are coming from the west, take Exit 413, which will take you
to Lakeshore Drive. Turn left, then follow the same directions as above.
