Berryman used to put instructions on the B-12 can for use in oil, but
they disappeared a few years ago, maybe with the advent of the roller
lifters. Anyway, factory used to say put in a pint in a COLD engine and
bring it up to operating temp immediately prior to an oil change -- sort
of as a flush additive -- one heck of a detergent in the oil,
dissolving and loosening all sorts of stuff -- I've had to remove the
oil pump pick up tube just to clean the screen on one obscenely plugged
up engine when someone forgot oil changes should be routine, and I used
a can of the stuff. I'd prefer a good hi-detergent motor oil with
regular changes rather than the "flush method", but sometimes you don't
get that choice.

I routinely use it in the fuel tank a couple times a year. Be very
careful around fresh paint though ...

So, another use -- paint remover.

Justice Brothers also has (had) a good engine oil additive for freeing
stuck lifters -- think it was Engine Tune-Up.

Marvel Mustery Oil is primarily a lubricant, imo.
