<VV> Don't Judge the Undercarriage

Hi Wayne, having a nice Corvair to drive is more important than winning
awards, it`s not the end of the world if you don`t win an award, if you own
a nice Corvair you are already a winner !
Some people are getting so stressed out over winning that they miss the real
fun.

John

Subject: <VV> Don't Judge the Undercarriage

I agree 100% with Clark and Dennis on not judging the undercarriage. I 2005
I spent two weeks on my back in the garage cleaning my restored
undercarriage on my very nice 66 Marina Blue monza to be ready for the
Concours. It was perfect when done. Then I had to drive the car from Salt
Lake City to Portland.

When arriving I obviously had no way to get the car up in the air to spend
what would have been more time cleaning what dirt and mud puddles I had been
though on my way to Portland.

Now that I have a seriously bad back I cannot do that "deep cleaning"
anymore which forces me out of showing my car in the Concours anymore and
receiving poor marks because of a dirty undercarriage although everything is
new underthere. I am now in the throws of deciding to sell my very nice
car.
