<VV> Remember the Member Survey in 2008 ?

I don't think the current BoD has any idea that survey was done or they
don't believe the results.  I would think it they want to change something,
step number one would be to refer to the survey.  

Shortening the convention and going electronic with the Communique did not
pass muster with the members.

Might be interesting to look back at the Member Survey of 2008. The results
are in the July 2008 Communique and the results do not match what we are
hearing.   
Example : The Survey Says - - - 57.9 % of the members responding said they
consider the length of the Convention to be - JUST RIGHT !  only 14.5% said
it was too long !
  
The 2007 Convention in Detroit had just ended the year before, starting on
Tuesday and going through Saturday, the Banquet was the last thing on
Saturday.  The Peoples Choice Car Display was on the same day and at the
same time as the Concours, Wednesday !    And the sky did not fall !
