Heading back EMPTY HANDED?????

Just because the wheels do not fit on the trailer? How about shoring up the chassis with railroad ties or landscaping 4x4s? Even if temporary ramps are needed to get it over the trailer. Let the wheels hang over the edges. Make it high enough that the body is over the trailer tires if needed. Think how narrow the trailers are that carry pontoon boats! Chain the Ultra down with binders and drive carefully ... in a safe and sane manner and it will safely follow you home.
Ken. there must be a way, P

i guess we need a better way to transport the ultravan from Smyrna FL to
Utica NY. if anyone can really do this , and can call soon , he is looking
for a way. he is there with a 2 car trailer that seems to be too narrow to
do it safely. i think he needs a flat bed?
plus now we are getting hammered with a blizzard here in NY. he is
heading back empty this morning.
i guess this is how memories are made?
