<VV> Corvair A/C Question

When I purchased my '69 Nova with a floor shift, the hole was ugly factory torch
cut. Think they screwed up further up the line before realizing the order was
for a 3 speed floor shift. Guess the factories used this method on more than
Corvairs.

I stripped the factory A/C system now in my 65 from a damaged 66. Like
Shortle, the trunk cutouts in the 66 looked like they had been burned out
with a torch. Really messy. The 66 was definitely a factory install
because the spare tire mount in the trunk was spot welded in place.
