Looking at the old "Bewitched" shows, it seems the Chevelle was highlighted.  The Stevens owned a '65 Malibu convertible.

The movie, "Mr. Holland's Opus" highlights an EM coupe, which was not only Mr. Holland's car, but it was saved and his son restored the car toward the end of the movie.

"Life On Mars," the US-based time travel/NYPD cop show, features a couple of Vairs, one in Episode 15 (LM vert) and a red LM coupe in Episode 16.  They were simply parked, not actually driven.  Sam Tyler had a '71 Chevelle SS and Ray Carling had a '68 GTO convertible, Verdoro Green.
The cop cars were all MoPars.
