On a related subject, I have some news for those who were or still are
interested in converting their automatic dash shifter to a floor shifter.
Clark's has the basic kits in stock, #C12679, at a price of $260.00.

The news is that we have just finalized the parts design that will provide
for a gear indicator for this kit. Some of you who have inquired about the
kit have expressed interest in needing a gear indicator.

As of now, we are in the process of building the parts for this option, and
will soon have them available. I don't have a price yet, as Clark's has to
calculate that. Just so all of you will be aware, the basic kit has the
necessary custom parts to do the conversion. The gear indicator kit will be
an extra cost option, and will fit even a previously installed basic kit.

There ARE parts that the customer has to provide, though, but should not
present anyone with any problems. The customer-supplied parts allow a
customer to adapt the kit to his own liking, with either stock Corvair
parts or custom parts, his choice. This is done to privide maximum
adaptability to customer tastes and to reduce the kit cost as much as
possible.

If anyone has any questions, I'll be happy to reply.

the time. The Spyder dash looks nice in a car or a FC (There are more than
one Ultra Van with the Spyder dash in it.) for that matter. Nice way to get
a full gauge package in a vehicle that didn't come with one.
