<VV> Non stock tires and wheels

I would like to give my 65 Corsa a more aggressive look for some shows while still maintaining its 60s look. I am considering Wheel Vintiques 15" x 7" SS wheels and 195 /60/15 Goodyear Eagle GTs on front and rear. Has any one had success (ie clearance, handling etc) running these sizes on a late model?
