In the lower half of the driveway at MY house, it doesn't matter if 
the car has a manual gearbox... you use the e-brake or else.   1st 
gear won't keep the car there without the e-brake... it will slowly 
chug its way down the driveway until it ends up in the back yard... 
or until it bumps into what might be parked ahead of it.
