Thanks Kent! An interesting tone of position for Chevrolet to take in the
same instance that the NHTSA was exonerating the Corvair in general from
Nader's accusations.

The attached PDF is of a scan of the letter sent to all Corvair owners know
(supposedly) on August 12, 1972. I found this reproduced in the book "The
Compleat History of Corvair for the Compleat Corvair Nut" Volume 2, by John
Wipff.

Very interesting reading!
