Well, given that Ford was cranking out one B24 every hour and that each B24 has four engines,. I guess Pratt and Whitney and its licensed suppliers would have to crank out at least 1 engine every 15 minutes! And Ford was one of the larger Contractors producing both the P&W R-1820 (used in the B-24) as well as the R-2800!
