<VV> Electric fuel pump

To me, installing the mechanical pump on the engine is kind of compromise as there is no way to operate it far from the engine, where the pump itself will work in better conditions, without excessive heat and no vapor locks. So, a pump close to the tank will see the best conditions to work. Me too, have used electric pumps in the engine compartment but, learnt the lesson and all my fuel pumps are now
close (or in) to the tank.
