Is the timing set to factory or as close as you can get to it?  If someone
has reduced the compression ratio, that will also reduce the mileage.

Our '66  convertible 110 power glide only get's between 12-14 miles to the 
gallon, runs pretty good. this is what I have done.....
We drive her about half and half city/ highway....
I have replaced the points with a patronix, new coil,  cleaned the plugs and

gaped them at 35, replaced the plug wires, installed a electric fuel pump,
set 
the times (a few times)  Any ideas?........Thank You in advance, Joe
