<VV> FYI - Ethanol

As I said, in my 1965 Corvair Corsa, 140hp four(4) carburetor engine, with
over thirty (30) years of using E10, I haven't seen rubber parts fail
prematurely. Maybe in a few more years I will. Same story with my '64 Buick
Skylark, but only 18 years of use in southern California and Iowa. I have
heard your statement 100's of times. My long term experience to date is
indicating otherwise. I'd move this to "VV talk" if knew how to move the
entire thread. It seems that talk about ethanol is about as controversial as
talk about religion or politics. Once a persons' mind is made up, it is
nearly impossible to change. I would like to put to bed the fears of using
E10 in Corvairs. Not likely to happen.
