<VV> parts

I am preparing a list for my first order from Clarks and I was curious; are
common parts, such as oil & air filters, points, condensor, plugs, cap,
rotor, wires, etc. available at local parts stores? I am asking here first
to avoid a lengthy explanation to a non english speaking counterman at the
local places here in Miami.
