Beware also that aluminum shavings, dust, grindings ....  are very dangerous 
when ignited ....   takes a good bit of heat to ignite, but the resulting 
fire is the basis of * thermite  fire *  , which will burn a hole in cement.

That is mainly why banks put heat sensors in their vaults ...   one attack 
mode is the use of * thermite rods * ....
