<VV> Fuel Pump Woes

Sorry to hear of your FP woes Bill. I would certainly be interested in buying your '69 Monza since it would be priced cheap based on the unfixable problem. I guess I should talk to your wife about the sale. I would fix the problem and then turn around and sell it for a profit (I am a capitalist- taught by the best [Matt]). Just kidding, I am self taught. I purchased an Airtex pump (2 actually) that has not let me down in 5 years. #2 is a spare in case #1 lets me down. I am using the "center section" made by the late/great Wes Jewett. This way, I don't fear fuel leaking into the crankcase nor fuel leaking out of the pump. Price- I think I spent around $200 for all 3 pieces but I don't really remember. I am not a (self proclaimed) cheapskate when it comes to being able to drive my Corvairs on the streets reliably. I have driven Corvairs to the last 3 conventions (Iowa, Florida, and California). Just my 2 cents if anyone will pay.
