Of course you have to actually be a member to vote! The rest of you will
have to sit back and see what happens. The future of CORSA will be in your
hands.

Actually, the future of Corsa will ONLY be in the hands of folks who can
and do vote - Not those who sit back and see what happens. And (depending on
the measure - if any - that comes to a vote) I hope that people vote their
conscience - seriously. If the Board determines that a compromise 100%
measure, essentially, taxing the non-Corsa members in the local clubs slightly
to pay for their insurance usage is the method that must be incorporated fo
r Corsa, as an international organization, to survive, and it passes a
Corsa membership vote, then I hope that everyone will help to implement it. If
they disagree with it, I hope they will implement it anyway. If they (both
individuals and clubs) choose not to go along, they will have the right to
go on alone, but not as part of Corsa.

There are many people who are Corvair enthusiasts, know about Corsa - both
National and local chapters - and choose not to participate in the
organized Corvair hobby. It is just not for them! They have the right to do that.
They can buy Corvair parts, they can buy Corvair books. They can show their
cars at regular car shows. They just cannot be part of Corsa, because
Corsa provides support, and, in order to survive, will have to demand support.
If you don't want to support what Corsa needs to survive, just walk away.
Remember, though, it won't be Corsa walking away from you, it would be you
walking away from Corsa - and be honest about it!
