<VV> Parking Brake Cable New info

Been following this saga for a while now - have you checked the rear cable
to the brake drums?  There is a chance one or both sides have come out of
their retaining slot or caught on the bushing into the drum, which would
have the effect of shortening the rear cable.  I seem to recall long long
ago that this happened to me once and it took me a bit to sort out what the
real issue was.  It may not be the front cable at all - just something
caught-up on the rear cable to the wheels.
