<VV> CORVAIR REGISTRY + database ?

Right, plus some versions of Office do not even have Access database, and
some teachers who teach MS Office at the college level, skip over it,
because they don't "get it" (although that's not what they'll tell you, just
that they "didn't get around to it" or something like that)

My feeling is that Excel is popular because it's so easy to get started, but
it becomes a nightmare if you try to get complicated.

A database is a "nightmare" (for most people) to get started but becomes
simple to use once it's set up.

People do not generally like to do that much work "up front" so they use
Excel until they go crazy.

If the person who is doing the data entry has it, they can export the info
to Excel format for everyone else's more specific lists, by exporting just
wagons, or vans, or anything else that is identifiable.

If you have any of this, or know someone who does, I'd like to give it a try
?
Charlie
