i have been placing strong magnets taken from junk hard drives in transmissions (pg and std) , differentials , and on the oil screen in anything i have apart for any reason. a few of my motors have them placed on the valve covers also. no problems from doing this in years.just be careful where you put them. regards, Tim Colson
