<VV> Cykinder Head Temp gauge wiring test

The cylinder head temp Gage in the recently re-installed dash on the 65 CORSA convert isn't working.  Any electrical test i can do to see if the wiring is OK before I risk trying to remove the thermistor/  Thanks in advance.
